PDF editing is recommended for files up to 80 MB. Large, encrypted, or damaged PDFs may be limited by browser memory and file constraints.

PDF editing workflow
1. Organize structure
- Merge multiple PDFs first, or split chapter ranges into separate files
- Keep the original PDF before editing
- When scanned and digital PDFs are mixed, page orientation and file size can vary a lot
2. Clean pages
- Delete blank, outdated, or sensitive pages
- Use preview to check page order and rotation
- For contracts, evidence, or ID copies, compare page count before and after deletion
3. Finish labels
- Add page numbers near the end of the workflow
- Add watermark text for draft, review, or internal copies and reopen the file
- Zoom in to make sure watermarks do not cover body text, signatures, QR codes, or seals
Large files
- Image-heavy scanned PDFs can take longer, so test with needed pages first
- Browser-side processing can stop if the tab is closed
- When the destination has upload limits, check compression or image resolution after editing
Before sharing
- Reopen the downloaded PDF and check page order, rotation, and visible text
- Keep the original file separately even after removing sensitive pages
- For signed, official, or submission PDFs, test upload in the final system
Yes. PDF Editor consolidates separate PDF utilities into a wider workspace for merging files, extracting pages, splitting ranges, deleting selected pages, adding page numbers, adding watermarks, rotating pages, and reordering merge files.
Regular preview and editing run inside the browser. Server-side conversion is used only for special document flows that show a separate notice, and ordinary PDF editing does not store original files in a service account.
A good order is to merge or split first, remove unwanted pages next, then add page numbers or watermark text as the final step before downloading. Reopen the exported PDF once before submitting it.
