Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-28. This policy explains how Jabdogu handles service data, advertising cookies, analytics, and user rights.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Jabdogu service and related pages that provide calculators, text tools, image/file tools, everyday utilities, developer tools, account features, and contact features.

External links, advertiser websites, and third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, nickname, encrypted password, login token, account creation time, and last seen time
  • Information you submit: contact messages, feature requests, tool feedback, comments, or reports
  • Usage information: page path, tool usage events, favorites, recent tools, language, timezone, and referrer
  • Device information: browser, operating system, device type, screen size, and access logs
  • File information: files processed locally in the browser are not uploaded by default, but server-based conversion may send files or limited metadata to our server

3. Browser-local Tool Inputs

Most calculators, text tools, image tools, and PDF tools are designed to process input in your browser.

Some features, such as server time checks, exchange rate lookup, or HWP/PDF server conversion, may send request values, files, or limited metadata to our server or a third-party API when necessary.

4. Purposes

  • Providing tools, showing results, processing files, authenticating accounts, and syncing favorites
  • Improving reliability, debugging errors, responding to security issues, and preventing abuse
  • Responding to contact requests, managing feature requests, improving usability, and analyzing popular tools
  • Displaying ads, measuring ad performance, analyzing traffic, and supporting service operating costs

5. Advertising, Cookies, and Google AdSense

Jabdogu may use advertising services such as Google AdSense. Google and third-party advertising partners may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, or similar technologies to show ads and measure ad performance.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads based on prior visits to Jabdogu or other websites, and may place or read browser cookies, use web beacons, or use IP addresses as part of ad serving.

Ads may be personalized based on prior visits or interests. You can limit personalized ads and cookies through Google ad settings, browser settings, or device settings.

In some regions, consent may be required before advertising cookies or personalized ads are used. Jabdogu may adjust consent flows to comply with applicable law and advertising platform policies.

6. Analytics and Performance Measurement

We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and first-party traffic logs to improve service quality.

Analytics help us understand page performance, popular tools, errors, and device-specific usability. Where practical, data is managed in aggregated or de-identified form.

7. Third Parties and International Processing

  • Cloud hosting, database, deployment, analytics, advertising, email, and security providers may process information for us.
  • Depending on providers such as Google, Vercel, or AWS, information may be processed outside your country.
  • We may disclose limited information where required by law, to respond to disputes, investigate security incidents, or protect rights.
  • Jabdogu does not sell personal information.

8. Retention

  • Account information is retained until account deletion or a deletion request is processed.
  • Contact and feature request records may be retained for support and product improvement, then deleted or de-identified.
  • Traffic, error, and security logs may be retained as needed for reliability and abuse prevention.
  • Some information may be retained longer where required for legal compliance, dispute handling, billing, or advertising reconciliation.

9. Security

We work to apply reasonable safeguards such as encrypted password storage, access limits, HTTPS, and operational log review.

No internet service can guarantee complete security, so we recommend not entering files or text that contain sensitive personal data, passwords, or financial credentials.

10. Children

Jabdogu is not intended to knowingly collect account information from children under 14. If a guardian requests deletion of a child's information, we will review and respond within a reasonable scope.

11. Your Rights

  • You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or account deletion.
  • You can limit some advertising and analytics processing by clearing cookies, limiting ad personalization, or using browser tracking controls.
  • Requests may be limited or take additional time where retention is required by law or needed for security.
