Tool Guide

Count days until tickets, exams, trips, and deadlines

D-Day Countdown shows how many days remain until a target date, whether the date is today, or how many days have passed. Use examples such as ticket openings, exam days, trip starts, product launches, and paperwork deadlines, then replace them with your own event name and date.

Useful For

  • Count down to ticket sales and event openings
  • Track exams, interviews, and paperwork deadlines
  • Share trip starts or launch date examples

Good To Know

Shared links are designed around example states; custom event names and dates are not stored in the URL by default.

Result Check

Try an example first to understand the input flow. Before submitting, sharing, or copying important output, compare the result with the original source once more.

How It Works

Inputs are calculated or converted in the browser whenever possible. Compare important results with the original source before using them. Reviewed on Jun 26, 2026.

D-day countdown checks

Date basis

  • Confirm whether the target date should follow your local timezone
  • Separate date-only counting from exact launch-time timing

Event name

  • Use a short name so the result card stays readable
  • Custom event details are not stored in share links

Use case

  • Best for tickets, exams, trips, and date-based milestones
  • Use Server Time or Timer when exact time matters
How are D-0 and D+1 shown?

If the target date is today, it is treated as D-Day or D-0. Past dates are shown as D+ with the number of days passed.

Does it include exact time of day?

This tool focuses on date-based countdowns. Use Server Time or Timer & Stopwatch when hour, minute, or second precision matters.

Is the event name saved in the share link?

Custom event names and dates are not stored in the URL. Example links store only the selected example.
